  • Practical takeaways will be given each session ends with clear action points, resources, or strategies you can use immediately in your role and ensure your wellbeing.

 FAQs

  • Independent supervision is separate from your performance reviews, billable targets, and any workplace politics. It’s a confidential space focused on your growth as a practitioner, not your compliance as an employee.

  • Absolutely. Everything discussed stays between you and your supervisor, except in very limited circumstances where safety is at risk (e.g. immediate harm to a client, mandatory reporting, harm to yourself). We go through all of this so you feel comfortable.

  • Yes. Each supervisee signs an agreement outlining confidentiality, expectations, frequency of sessions, and reporting thresholds. This ensures clarity for both you and your supervisor and means you can use this as part of your evidence when showing your learnings and dedication to your role.

  • Most choose monthly or fortnightly sessions. Sessions are typically 60–90 minutes, but can be tailored to your needs.

  • Yes. Each session produces notes and action steps you can use as evidence toward your professional development plan and PBS capability progression if that’s part of what we work on.

  • Absolutely not suggesting that at all. If you are finding that you are getting all support that you need, that’s wonderful. This space is for people who want another ear to listen.
